Join the biggest logistics company in the world
As a Business Support Specialist, you will join Group Finance Transformation, which is part of our Portfolio Governance Office (PGO). You will be based at our headquarters in Hedehusene and collaborate with an international team, providing support to executive management.
“You can look forward to interacting with a lot of key stakeholders, as we are responsible for all projects within finance transformation. As a highly collaborative, global team, we help set the stage and influence what finance should look like in the future,” explains your manager, Cornèl Pretorius, who is based in Portugal.

As a Business Support Specialist, your role involves analysing portfolio data and handling administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of finance-related projects and department functions. You can expect approximately a 50/50 division between business analysis and administrative responsibilities, with tasks ranging from managing documents to exposure to key stakeholders.
You will also participate in developing core processes within the PGO function, focusing on optimisation and best practice, and some travel will be required.
Among your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide administrative support by, e.g., managing agendas, SharePoint, document library, overseeing vacation and holiday schedules and ensuring adherence to PGO project standards
- Coordinate project status and reporting with the Group PMO and support the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, presentations and documents
- Support your team in preparing portfolio reporting, e.g., for the executive committee
- Monitor key operational metrics, analyse cross-line of business roadmaps and project portfolios against project intake requests, and analyse project and resource capacity data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions for Finance Transformation.
- Assist Resource Managers in refining and maintaining accurate workload allocations
- Support and coordinate the vetting of projects and financial data within the project portfolio
Attention to detail and finance experience
Your experience from a global matrix organisation or a consultancy allows you to thrive in a supporting role in a fast-paced environment with changing demands. Additionally, you have:

- Great analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience in implementation, transformation or integration projects, preferably in finance
