DSV Air & Sea  is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Implant Coordinator in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. 

 

As a Coordinator, you will act as the central point of contact for client stakeholders regarding shipments worldwide. You will work closely with internal teams and international offices to ensure shipment requirements are met and service expectations are consistently delivered.


Your typical day at DSV:

  • Coordinate and execute export, import, domestic, AOG (Aircraft on Ground), critical, and routine shipments, including collections and final‑mile delivery.
  • Monitor inbound, outbound, and cross‑trade shipments, ensuring on‑time performance agreements are met and milestones are accurately recorded in operational systems.
  • Proactively manage delays, follow up on missing freight or documentation, communicate exceptions to customers, and escalate issues where required.
  • Ensure shipments are customs cleared prior to delivery and support tracing activities for missing or delayed cargo.
  • Respond efficiently to customer enquiries and provide shipment status updates through regular communication and stakeholder meetings.
  • Utilise multiple systems and tools (including CargoWise One, Tango, MS Office and other logistics platforms) while supporting additional tasks as directed by the Manager.

 

About you:

  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in managing time‑critical and sensitive situations.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance requirements, and authorities impacting freight operations.
  • High level of business acumen, cost awareness, numeracy skills, and attention to detail.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office and logistics systems, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Relevant industry experience and/or a combination of education and experience; Dangerous Goods knowledge is advantageous.
