DSV Air & Sea  is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Import Sea in Port of Brisbane.

The position is responsible for liaising with customers & suppliers in an effective and timely manner whilst directing, compiling and completing the necessary documentation within the operations team. This position is required to ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

Your typical day at DSV:

• Manage shipments end‑to‑end, ensuring customer delivery expectations are met while adhering to SOPs, milestones, KPIs, and regulatory requirements.
• Process operational jobs accurately and efficiently, including documentation, billing, and financial verification to support profitability.
• Plan, prioritise, and execute shipments using the Transport Workbench, ensuring deadlines and service standards are achieved.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers through timely and accurate communication.
• Identify, resolve, and escalate operational issues relating to documentation, weights and measures, load planning, and cost implications.
• Maintain accurate operational and financial data in CargoWise One, support process improvements, and assist the Senior Team Lead and Manager with daily tasks and projects.

About you:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven experience in freight operations or a similar logistics‑focused role.
• High proficiency in logistics and supply chain systems; CargoWise One experience is preferred.
• Solid understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Well‑organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced operational environment.
