DSV Solutions is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Manager, Projects in Eastern Creek, Sydney.
The position is responsible for providing proactive, day‑to‑day project management and deployment of agreed initiatives while ensuring full compliance with business‑mandated processes. Key focus areas include enhancing operational performance through productivity improvements and error reduction, managing labour and equipment resources, driving continuous improvement programs, overseeing operating costs and benefits, and supporting site setups and closures.
Your typical day at DSV:
- Oversee and enhance project management processes to ensure initiatives are delivered efficiently and aligned with business objectives.
- Drive organisational efficiencies by improving tools, capabilities, and operational frameworks across teams.
- Ensure all project outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain strong stakeholder engagement to secure commitment to project goals.
- Lead project teams, run meetings, facilitate requirements workshops, and track project progress to achieve defined deliverables.
- Manage the project portfolio within your scope, ensuring appropriate prioritisation and alignment with business needs.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure team structure, resources, and skills meet evolving business requirements.
About you:
- Experience in Oil & Gas or large‑scale project environments, supported by strong knowledge of relevant industry legislation.
- High proficient in Microsoft Office and systems such as PROCARS and TANGO.
- You possess deep expertise in freight forwarding across air and ocean, including import/export operations, customs requirements, cargo tariffs, and documentation processes.
- You have proven capability in project management, with strong commercial, operational, and analytical skills. You demonstrate effective leadership, able to motivate teams, manage the full employee lifecycle, and build a high‑performance culture.
- You are flexible and adaptable, able to adjust working hours to meet fluctuating customer and operational demands.
