DSV Air & Sea  is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Senior Freight Forwarder, Export in Port of Brisbane.

The position is responsible for arranging and directing the transportation and shipment of export consignments from origin to destination by compiling, completing and verifying required documents in accordance with company policy and procedure and external body regulations.

Your typical day at DSV:

• Process export consignments accurately and efficiently to meet customer expectations and both local and global DSV KPIs, including transshipments into BNE and shipments into PNG.

• Deliver excellent customer service with same-day response standards and clear communication across all stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the Export team to ensure data accuracy, workflow compliance, and continuous process improvements.

• Manage export processes in line with SOPs, customer instructions, and management directives, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and service providers locally and overseas.

• Coordinate and resolve export-related issues with various stakeholders including the DSV warehouse, airlines, shipping lines, transport companies, co-loaders, and customers.

• Accurately enter and manage data in CargoWise One and C2C (customer portal); ensure invoicing is completed within 5 days of departure or collection.

• Prioritise export shipments using the Export Workbench to meet milestones and deadlines.

• Support the Manager with daily operations and assist in ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

About you:

• Tech-savvy, utilizing modern logistics software for tracking shipments, automating documentation, and keeping clients informed.
• Strong communicator, offering excellent customer service, proactive problem-solving, and responsive support to ensure smooth operations.
• Proven experience in export logistics, with in-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and industry-specific shipping requirements.
• Cargowise One knowledge and experience.
