DSV Air & Sea  is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Tender Specialist, Senior National Support in Melbourne.

 

The purpose of the Senior Tender Specialist role is to lead, coordinate, and deliver high quality tender responses that effectively position the company to win new business and retain existing customers. The role serves as the central link between Sales, Operations, and Management to gather information, validate costs, and prepare accurate, competitive, and commercially sound proposals. It ensures strong tender processes that contribute to sustainable and profitable growth.

 

Your typical day at DSV:

  • Manage and complete Local and Global RFQs using Sourcify and other tender platforms.
  • Prepare accurate, well‑written tender proposals and ensure all submissions meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate with the global network to obtain pricing and commercial inputs for international bids.
  • Work closely with Product teams to review pricing, confirm competitiveness, and promote the use of DSV products.
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders to support successful tender outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Manager with daily activities and projects as needed.

 

About you:

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in tender management role within the logistics or freight industry.
  • Understanding of global logistics operations, including air, sea, and road freight.
  • Proven capability managing deadlines and delivering accurate, high quality tender submissions.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word, with experience using tender platforms such as Sourcify.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret data, cost structures, and commercial requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proactive, accountable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
