DSV Air & Sea  is seeking to hire multiple skilled and passionate Warehouse Operators in Sydney. 

 

The Warehouse Operator plays an integral part in the logistic supply chain, ensuring stock is received, stored, and dispatched in a safe and timely manner as required and that all associated paperwork is completed as per procedures. The Warehouse Operator will also be required to assist with the loading/unloading of trucks as directed by the Warehouse Manager or Team lead. This role requires precision in managing diverse cargo types, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and contributing to the smooth flow of freight in and out of the facility.

 

Your typical day at DSV:

  • Load and Unload Cargo - Safely handle the loading and unloading of trucks, containers, and airline ULDs, ensuring goods move efficiently through the warehouse.
  • Operate Equipment - Use counterbalance and high-reach forklifts to move and store cargo, following all safety procedures.
  • Pick, Pack & Process Orders - Prepare shipments accurately, update system records, and maintain documentation as required.
  • Maintain Safety & Cleanliness - Conduct daily safety checks, report any damage or irregularities, and keep the warehouse organized and hazard-free.
  • Follow Procedures & Meet KPIs - Adhere to operational standards while working towards performance targets and timelines.
  • Collaborate as a Team - Communicate effectively with colleagues and support a positive, team-oriented environment.


About you:

  • Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally within freight forwarding.
  • Valid forklift license with proven experience operating counterbalance (essential) and high-reach (desirable) forklifts.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends when required.
  • Knowledge of bonded warehouse operations and dangerous goods handling is desirable.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items safely.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
  •  Ability to hold an ASIC card if required.
