About the role
Drive operational excellence across Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal and Italy by managing the full lifecycle of our material handling equipment projects. As Project Specialist, MHE Services, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our warehouses are equipped with the right tools to keep supply chains moving efficiently. From site surveys to supplier coordination, you’ll be the driving force behind successful MHE implementations. You will work from our Road division in Rekkem and travel frequently to these countries as well as a regular travel to Venlo, where the rest of the MHE team are situated.

You’ll work closely with site managers and suppliers to deliver high-quality equipment on time and within scope. This office-based role includes regular travel to DSV sites in these countries.  

Duties:

• Lead site surveys and define equipment needs to support operational efficiency;
• Develop technical specifications and configure order templates with internal teams and suppliers;
• Manage supplier selection through DSV’s Business Case process and maintain strong vendor relationships;
• Ensure compliance with framework agreements and configure contracts using designated software;
• Coordinate delivery timelines and billing start dates with suppliers;
• Monitor monthly invoicing activities and ensure accurate processing via WebCost;
• Communicate project progress, risks, and changes clearly with stakeholders across DSV.

• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities;
• You could express yourself fluently in English and French;
• You could take ownership of the entire life cycle of MHE;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities;
• Proactive, confident, and able to work independently;
• Willing to travel and collaborate to sites in various countries.
