Storekeeper

Job Purpose

To complete the assigned operational and housekeeping tasks in keeping with the SOP’s and the IMS

Procedures in place.

Accountabilities

• Ensures the tasks assigned viz. Loading, Unloading, Receiving, Segregation, Put-away,
• Picking, Sorting, co-mingling, moves, dispatches are conducted smoothly and accurately.
• Report promptly on tasks completed individually and ensure probable discrepancies are bought to the attention of the Team Leader.
• Interacts with client representatives (driver and general assistants) should the need arise.
• Responsible for proper usage and preventive maintenance of MHE’s under his purview
• Is responsible for completing tasks bearing in mind the safety, health and sanitation measures in place.
• Ensures housekeeping tasks are completed and reported on regular basis.
• Supervises the personnel under his control for performance enhancement.
• Coordinates and supports the Team Leader in operational coordination.
• Guides the Labor and MHE Operators in proper hygiene and cleanliness.
• Coordinates with the Quality Control Staff and arranges to rectify anomalies on a one to one basis, should there be no need of escalation of issues

• Docking / Document Verification
• Loading / Unloading with simultaneous Document Cross Verification
• Segregation / Staging / Caging
• Picking / Putaway

• Housekeeping Tasks such as co-mingling, moves, etc.
