Team Lead

Job Purpose

To monitor, oversee, lead warehouse work group activities and to ensure that all warehouse operations are

being carried out with 100% accuracy and safety, whilst ensuring compliance to Company’s policies and

procedures.

Accountabilities

• Organizes and allocates manpower and equipment to enable expediting of orders according to priorities, plans warehouse space as per business requirements and supervises picking, packing and put-away Operations.
• Assigns storage locations and ensures that storage is completed efficiently to enable timely retrieving.
• Ensures that all manuals put-away and picking lists are rechecked for right quantities, dimensions, and Products.
• Oversee packing processes for outbound shipments for compliance to country and customer specifications and those necessary certifications and stickers are attached to enable timely delivery of goods to the Customer.
• Monitors the documentation of all damages, short and over shipments, MDNs preparations and reports the same to the Client Services Executive for further action.
• Carries out regular stock checks, cycle counts, and location checks to achieve stock integrity and prepares reports on variances.
• Carries out timely and accurate reconciliations for effective resolution of stock discrepancies.
• Implements QHSE (Quality, Health and Safety & Environment) plus Security policies and procedures in the distribution center and ensures that good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times, taking fast corrective action when required.
• Supervises, trains, sets objectives for staff, appraises and support employees to display high levels of individual and team performance.
• Manages staff discipline when it comes to absenteeism, behavior, Quality standards (uniform, safety shoes wearing etc.)
• Elevates potential issues and opportunities for improvement to the Supervisor or direct Line Manager
• Any other related duties/projects assigned by the Supervisor or Line Manager from time to time to meet business needs.
• Distribution Bahrain : Plan the Routes and ensure soomth deliveries done within specified Timelines.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Receiving Productivity: Warehouse operators should process 20-30 pallets / hour.
• Receiving Accuracy: 100% accuracy, must use RF Guns at all times.
• Put-Away Accuracy: Warehouse operators should put-away 15 pallets/hour/Operator (with RF Guns)
• Picking Accuracy: 100% accuracy (Using RF Guns) No returned outbound
