General Responsibilities:
To ensure the end-to-end successful implementation of domestic transportation projects (e.g., System, cross-docking, linehaul, last mile delivery, etc.), achieving operational readiness, service quality, cost control, and continuous improvement in line with the core objectives and methodology outlined in the Implementation Structure Plan.
Detailed Responsibilities:
1. Project Initiation & Handover
- Manage the smooth handover from Commercial/TM to Operation, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of client requirements, agreed KPIs, and project scope.
- Lead the project kick-off meeting to align objectives, milestones, timelines, and team roles.
2. End-to-End Implementation Planning & Execution
- Develop detailed implementation project plans covering all phases: Planning, Execution, Delivery, Go-live Readiness, and Go-live.
- Ensure operational readiness by coordinating internal and external resources to enable seamless transition.
- During implementation, leverage data analytics, lead solution design and FTE models to monitor costs against budget forecasts and identify service deviations or cost impacts.
3. Stakeholder Alignment & Service Quality Assurance
- Act as the key liaison to align service requirements and KPIs across Commercial/TM, Operations, PDD and Vendor Management teams.
- Conduct regular meetings/surveys with vendors to ensure full compliance with service requirements and performance standards.
- Maintain customer feedback and quality issue reporting in accordance with SOPs.
4. Risk & Change Management
- Proactively identify operational and financial risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Adhere to the change request management process for any scope changes requested internally or by the client.
5. Cost Control & Performance Monitoring
- Work with the Operations Manager/PM and P&L owner to track actual P&L against forecast/budget and take corrective actions as needed.
- Report regularly on agreed KPIs based on customer contracts and targets.
6. Project Delivery & Go-live Support
- Ensure delivery of agreed KPIs, successful knowledge transfer, and process handover, leading to formal customer acceptance.
- Lead go-live readiness assessments to ensure all operational, system, and personnel preparations are complete.
- Conduct post go-live operational reviews for root cause analysis, correction planning, and continuous improvement follow-up.
7. Standardization & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and maintain operational standards.
- Drive process optimization and service enhancement after project go-live.
Communications
- Internal – Commercial & Tender Management, OP, VM, PDD/IT, Management
- External – Clients, Subcontractors (Hub partner, Transportation vendor, etc.)
Qualifications & Experience:
- College Diploma or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/supply chain project implementation, transportation operations, or related roles; end-to-end project management experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with the domestic transportation market (especially road freight) and operational processes such as linehaul, distribution, and cross-docking.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Data-driven mindset with cost control awareness; proficient in MS Office and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented and accountable.
