Purpose of the position:
As a Business Integration Manager, you play a critical role in onboarding Global Accounts and ensuring that EDI and API solutions support efficient, future-ready operations. You connect customers, operations, IT, and sales — keeping everything aligned and moving forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Business Integration Manager for Global Accounts:
- Manages the implementation in the business.
- Together with Sales and the “ONE IT” engages with the (potential) client as the responsible person to onboard the client in DSV.
- Sign off the proposed Business Requirement Document to initiate integrations.
- Together with the Customer Delivery Managers aligns the planning (high level and detailed) with Operations, Customer, the Customer Integration Office and EI.
- Ensures that the User Acceptance Tests scenarios are created & executed accordingly.
- Ensures that all local stakeholders are aligned.
- Ensures that all local contributors have committed to the plan and are delivering on time and on quality.
- Acts as the first point of contact for Operations after the Business Go live, Troubleshooting, Advising.
- Close cooperation with Group Integration office (CINTO), in establishing/maintaining current & future work process/protocols for BIMs globally.
- Analyze our EDI+ and special setups and see how we can convert more to standard or make our standard fit more requests.
- Understand our EDI & API services and guide customers/sales towards API First.
- API – take the lead in educating sales staff to sell API over EDI and take input from our customers to use for improving our API product.
- 3rd Party Governance – take part in the strategic initiative to align business approach towards 3rd party integrators.
- Close cooperation with A&S Global sales with priority of our Gold & Platinum Customers.
Requirements:
What you bring – integration expertise and business understanding..
You are a structured, solution-oriented professional with strong stakeholder management skills and a solid understanding of system integration in a global business environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field
• 5–8+ years of experience in business integration, EDI/API implementation, logistics processes, or similar roles
• Strong understanding of EDI, API, and system integration concepts in a business environment
• Experience working in international, cross-functional setups with multiple stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end implementation projects, including planning, execution, and delivery
• Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes is a clear advantage
• Experience working with large/global customers and complex onboarding projects • Excellent project management and coordination skills
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify standardisation opportunities and process improvements
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills — able to engage with both technical and business audiences
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business language
• Structured, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Nice to have
• Experience with integration platforms or middleware solutions • Knowledge of SAP, TMS, or other logistics-related systems
• Experience driving API adoption or digital transformation initiatives
