Global Transport and Logistics

Global

Job Req Number:  110609
Time Type: Full Time

Are you ready to support your colleagues in creating lasting impact from their projects, so that we improve data quality, achieve the right level of documentation, and ensure that all colleagues are well-informed about changes within master data management?

Then join us in a brand-new role and get the chance to create the standards for all future change management.

“This is a unique opportunity to shape both your own role and the way in which we create lasting change within master data management. At the same time, you will get to work with an array of stakeholders, as you assist in multiple projects at once,” says your new manager, Paulina Lipinska.

Welcome to the team that creates project excellence

You will join our Master Data Management (MDM) Department of 31 colleagues, more specifically, 3 colleagues working in the MDM Governance team.

Our responsibility is to support colleagues across the other MDM pillars – Business Partner Master Data, Data and System Maintenance, and Financial and Organisational Master Data – to ensure that their projects follow best practices.

“We collaborate closely, and even though we manage our tasks independently, we all know what the others are doing. So help is always at hand, which is especially important in an environment where we constantly innovate,” Paulina continues.

Create our change management framework and enable your colleagues to follow it

As our first-ever dedicated change manager, you will support your colleagues in delivering their various projects to enhance data quality, drive continuous improvements, and ensure the right level of documentation, education, and training.

This means that it will ultimately be your responsibility to ensure that all changes to data governance, data quality, systems, or ways of working are clearly understood, well communicated, and effectively implemented.

Your tasks will include:

  • Defining the change management strategy and turning it into an end-to-end MDM change process, which you will oversee
  • Ensuring that all changes comply with MDM standards, policies, and data quality principles
  • Assisting team members with various change-related tasks, e.g., creating communication plans and training materials, and coordinating training sessions and tests between departments
  • Conducting your own training sessions for our group process owners in communication, mapping stakeholders, etc.
  • Reporting on the progress of change management activities across projects to relevant stakeholders

Experience with change management in complex projects

With your entrepreneurial mindset, you are able to establish the foundation for all future change management within MDM. At the same time, you are structured enough to ensure implementation of your new change management framework while also adhering to existing standards – and you know how to ensure governance and progres through others.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

  • Have several years of experience working with change management – preferably in a business or IT context involving several stakeholders
  • Have experience working on highly complex projects, since you will be involved in projects of all sizes – you might have been a project manager before, but it is not a requirement
  • Perhaps have a master’s degree in finance or IT – but what really matters is your experience
  • Might have knowledge of SAP MDG since this is the system we work in – but this is just an advantage
  • Speak and write English fluently
