In this role you will support compliance initiatives that embed a strong culture of integrity across the entire organization. This includes the further development of the DSV compliance program, the human rights program and related policies, ensuring they remain aligned with regulatory requirements and best practices. You will also support DSVs whistleblower scheme and investigate a broad variety of compliance cases related to business integrity, accounting, human rights and working conditions.

Here, you will be part of a small but committed Core Compliance & Investigation team. Leveraging your expertise, you will support ongoing compliance initiatives and take ownership of selected compliance-related tasks.
We are part of the Group Sustainability and Compliance department with 42 employees in total who also cover topics such as QHSE, sustainability, and more. Joining DSV means becoming part of a global organization with significant opportunities for professional growth and development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Making sure that the Code of Conduct and Business Ethics in general is lived throughout the organisation, rather than just on paper.
- Design, organize, and deliver comprehensive internal training sessions and/or awareness campaigns on compliance.
- Support the development of compliance monitoring activities by obtaining and analysing relevant data pertaining to compliance risks such as gifts and hospitality, donations, sponsoring, maverick buying transactions or other compliance related controls in order to gain an understanding of DSVs risk exposure.
- Be responsible for assessments of reported misconducts received through the central whistleblowing management system to check them for conclusiveness. This includes the handling of highly sensitive matters.
- Conduct thorough compliance investigations into potential breaches of the Code of Conduct, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Gather and analyse evidence, including documentation, interviews, and digital records, to establish facts and assess risk.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as regional and cluster compliance and operational teams to ensure investigations are handled professionally and confidentially.
Use your experience to make a difference
The ideal candidate is a (young) professional with a business or legal background and practical knowledge gained through relevant work experience or internships in compliance and/or investigations. With your background, you are able to evaluate and analyse complex compliance issues and apply tailored solutions to a large multinational organization.
Additionally, you have:
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- High Integrity
- Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in compliance.
- Familiarity with international compliance frameworks and best practices
- First experience in conducting internal investigations, including evidence gathering, interviews, and reporting.
- Experience in multinational organizations and complex regulatory environments is considered a plus.
