Join us in this role where you will be responsible for financial analysis, monthly reporting, as well as forecasting and budgeting — with a primary focus on the Global IT department within the DSV Group. Global IT serves as the core of the group, delivering both solutions and projects across the entire Group organization.

 

Strong stakeholder management is essential for success in this role, where you'll play a vital part in bridging finance and business to enable the best possible decision-making. In addition, you will take on a key role in the integration of DB Schenker into DSV, contributing to one of the most significant transitions in the company’s history

 

Become part of our dynamic Corporate Accounting & Finance Reporting and Controlling team, where you’ll help build a strong Finance Business Partner function. Together with your colleagues, you’ll play a key role in connecting business performance with financial reporting — and in supporting both the business units and Group Finance.

 

As a Finance Business partner, you will:

  • Conducting financial analysis and taking the lead in supporting the business with financial insights for your assigned area in Group
  • Prepare the monthly management reporting and ensure a high quality of the financials reported
  • Increasing the transparency and understanding
  • Act as a trusted finance partner towards stakeholders for the executive Management Team
  • You will be responsible for producing the yearly budget and conducting monthly follow-ups on actuals, while also acting as a gatekeeper on spending to ensure cost targets are met and financial discipline is maintained across the organization
  • Drive the budget and forecast planning process
  • Interface with other group teams for any finance-related topics
  • Work closely with our stakeholders, supporting them to understand their numbers   

 

What will you need to succeed:

We are looking for a confident, ambitious, and passionate candidate with strong stakeholder management skills You must be able to influence your stakeholders and drive a financial agenda with a permanent developing and innovative company. More specifically we are looking:

 

  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree within a relevant field
  • Have an audit background of minimum of 1-2 years
  • A dedicated individual with a sense of detail and a strong level of accuracy
  • Open to learn new things and move further and the willing to solve complex challenges
  • Structured and with an eye for details and passionate about delivering a high-quality service
  • Be open minded and be proactive and an excellent communicator
  • Thrive working in a dynamic multinational environment
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Fluent in English both verbal and writing
