Global Transport and Logistics

Global

Job Req Number:  110606
Time Type: Full Time

Are you ready to “train the trainers”, using your own project management experience to support your colleagues in ensuring governance and managing capacity? And are you thrilled about the possibility of being involved in several and very diverse master data management projects at once?

Then join us for this next step in your career and learn from every stakeholder – regardless of their level in our organisation.

“This role really hits the sweet spot between structure and constant change. Because even though you will work in an environment where change happens fast, you also get to immerse yourself in documentation and capacity management,” says your new manager, Paulina Lipinska.

Welcome to the team that creates project excellence

You will join our Master Data Management (MDM) Department of 31 colleagues, more specifically, 3 colleagues working in the MDM Governance team.
Our responsibility is to support colleagues across the other MDM pillars – Business Partner Master Data, Data and System Maintenance, and Financial and Organisational Master Data – to ensure that their projects follow best practices.

“We collaborate closely, and even though we manage our tasks independently, we all know what the others are doing. So help is always at hand, which is especially important in an environment where we constantly innovate,” Paulina continues.

Support your colleagues in creating compliant progress

Managing our MDM roadmap, you will support you team members in delivering their various projects to enhance data quality, drive continuous improvements, and ensure the right level of documentation, education, and training.

Your role is to ensure that our projects progress in line with governance standards while using the appropriate level of resources. In addition to the rest of the MDM Department, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders at different levels, mainly within IT and our Global Business Support.

Some of your tasks will be to:

  • Manage project capacity, ensuring that the right number of working hours are allocated to and spent on each project by the right resources
  • Ensure that our various internal and external project standards are followed, and support team members in maintaining governance, e.g., by conducting training sessions and writing one-pagers
  • Document that our processes are being followed, and assist in creating specific documentation for each project, e.g., project plans, business requirements and stakeholder presentations
  • Report on the progress of each project to relevant stakeholders

Experienced project manager who makes things happen through others

You know the different stages involved in working with big and complex projects in a large organisation – and you have the people skills to align and prioritise the time of all the stakeholders needed to ensure compliant progress.

And even though you will join an environment where priorities can shift abruptly, you are still able to keep an overview of all the projects you will be involved in.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Have several years of project management experience and can handle a high degree of complexity while maintaining your focus
  • Perhaps have a master’s degree in finance – but what really matters is your experience
  • Are familiar with Agile or Waterfall frameworks, though in-depth experience with either is not required
  • Might have knowledge of SAP MDG since this is the system we work in – but this is just an advantage
  • Speak and write English fluently
