With DSV’s continued growth and increasing complexity in both product offerings and requirements, the importance of a strong and consistent quality framework is increasing. While existing controls provide a stable basis, additional capacity and expertise are required to further develop, drive, and embed quality processes, improve efficiency, and ensure sustainable optimisation and standardisation across the Air&Sea division.


As we are present in more than 80 countries and hundreds of sites we need to ensure we have an up-to-date oversight of the level of compliance, risks associated to customers’ needs and expectations as well as develop and refine good practices.

Quality
Joining our Global QHSE, Sustainability & Supply Chain Security, Air & Sea, you will act as an ambassador for quality and based on your experience and data available establish comprehensive improvement projects and implement solutions and measures enhancing customer satisfaction and mitigating business risks from a quality perspective.

 

Responsibility

  • Manage and drive quality and continuous improvement activities across operations, fostering a strong learning, accountability, and blame‑free culture
  • Monitor and evaluate operational quality performance across transport, handling, documentation, and customer interfaces, using data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Recommend, implement, and embed sustainable process improvements to enhance service reliability, compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain and govern quality documentation, SOPs, process maps, and workflows, ensuring alignment with regulatory, customer, and internal requirements
  • Review and support training, qualification, and competency needs for quality‑critical and operational roles, working closely key stakeholders
  • Prepare, analyse, and present quality reports, dashboards, and management updates, highlighting performance, deviations, corrective actions, and improvement progress
  • Support and facilitate workshops, audits, and training sessions on quality standards, processes, and improvement tools
  • Act as a key quality interface for operations, ensuring quality principles are embedded into daily decision‑making and continuous improvement efforts

 

Qualifications

You have previously worked as a quality manager, and with your experience, you understand the importance of, and the complexity given by stakeholders’ needs.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Several years’ experience working in a large international organization
  • Strong understanding of investigative methodologies and tools, risk identification and mitigation strategies as well as root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge about good practices within quality
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills 

 

Additionally, you may have some of the following qualifications: 

  • Comprehensive knowledge within quality management systems
  • Solid knowledge of business continuity and risk assessment
  • Solid knowledge and insights in standards tools like FMEA, PPS, RCA-tools and maybe even X-matrix
  • Started utilizing AI in analyzing data supporting global improvement plans
  • Knowledge within logistics

 

Commitment to learn and grow.

Any formal qualifications as a certified quality manager will be a plus and so will experience within quality excellence business/quality maturity frameworks

  • Motivate and engage with the organization by e.g. improving business and customer satisfaction in close collaboration with commercial.

Area:

Preferably Denmark/Europe. Please note, where you live is of less importance.

 

Travel:

Approximately 30 days / year
