DSV is strengthening its global Lease Compliance & Property Audit capabilities and is looking for a skilled Real Estate Lease Manager to support and lead activities related to lease expiry, property condition assessment, and controlled handover of leased sites across our global portfolio. You will take on a global role in a fast-growing company with ample career opportunities.

Global real estate expertise in a logistics powerhouse

Joining us at our headquarters in Hedehusene, you will be part of our Group Real Estate team with 14 dedicated colleagues. Together, we support our local management across the globe in optimizing property structures and minimizing property costs across the DSV Group..
The Group Real Estate team is overall responsible for property development projects within DSV, ranging from business case preparation and land acquisition to the design and tendering of large-scale developments, including offices, logistics terminals, and warehouses. The team works in close collaboration across its various disciplines and maintains strong collaboration with DSV’s local and regional operations and facility management teams.

You drive controlled lease exits worldwide

In this global role, you are responsible for managing and supporting lease expiry and property handover processes. Your focus is to ensure controlled exits while protecting DSV from unnecessary claims and costs.

More specifically, you will:

• Review lease contracts and clarify maintenance and repair obligations, including obligations upon vacating premises
• Liaise with Group Legal or external legal advisors in case of disputes
• Assess the financial impact of identified dilapidation and repair obligations
• Coordinate a structured and controlled vacation process with landlords
• Negotiate repair obligations to minimize DSV’s exposure

Experienced lease negotiator with commercial insight

With your solid experience in lease exits and property handovers, you navigate negotiations with confidence and composure. A structured and detail-focused approach enables you to present and support positions using documentation and facts.

We also imagine that you:

• Hold a relevant education within Real Estate, Engineering, Construction, Law or similar
• Have several years of experience with lease exits, property handovers or landlord negotiations
• Have direct experience dealing with landlords, claims and defect discussions
• Possess a solid understanding of lease expiry and handover obligations
• Have a good understanding of construction projects, building processes, and the costs involved.
• Are fluent in English and ideally speak an additional language
