As a Senior Business Architect, you will help operationalise our strategic ambitions by aligning business processes, capabilities, and technology across the global organisation. You will join Enterprise Data & AI within Corporate Development—a high performing team dedicated to establishing trusted, governed, and intelligent data ecosystems. Working closely with senior leadership, platform stakeholders, and cross functional teams, you will design business solutions that optimise performance, streamline operations, and ensure organisational scalability. This role will be dedicated to working within DSV’s strategic programme, supporting core domain activities and delivery outcomes.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Business Architect, you will be responsible for designing, analysing, and improving business processes and capabilities across the Data Platform.

Your responsibilities include:

• Act as a hands on Business Analyst within the domain squad(s), driving requirement clarity and supporting solution design, capturing dependencies.
• Analysing existing end to end business processes, workflows, and systems to identify improvement opportunities.
• Documenting as is and to be business processes to highlight gaps and potential value.
• Auditing how platform capabilities align across products and platforms to reduce overlap and duplication.
• Challenging the value of new business requirements and ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities.
• Designing solutions that bridge business needs with technology capabilities, ensuring end to end cohesion.
• Collaborating with Business Platform Owners, IT Platform Owners, Solution Architects, and other stakeholders to embed requirements into the DSV landscape effectively.
• Ensuring platform and system integrations support efficient enterprise wide data flows.
• Leading stakeholder engagement, including senior executives, to gather needs, align expectations, and drive business transformation.
• Facilitating workshops and communicating complex concepts to both technical and non technical audiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
• 6+ years of experience in business analysis, enterprise architecture, or business process management.
• 6+ years of experience in IT architecture and systems design.
• Strong knowledge of the logistics and transportation industry.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify gaps and propose solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to both technical and non technical audiences.
• Knowledge of enterprise systems, infrastructure, databases, and integration tools.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies in an enterprise setting.
• Familiarity with business intelligence, data analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
