Job Req Number:  95228
Time Type: Full Time

Would you like to use your finance experience to work with all areas of integration within the Finance Transformation team – from hands-on document creation to influencing key stakeholders?

Join us to support the smooth integration of newly acquired businesses into DSV’s finance community in alignment with our Finance Transformation objectives – and drive alignment across the Finance Group functions, bringing transparency through reporting and other methods throughout the integration period.

"You will be part of one of the most strategically important integration programmes in DSV’s history, with direct exposure to senior leadership and a key role in shaping how we align financial operations across newly acquired entities," says your manager, Cornèl Pretorius.

Join an international team

Working at our headquarters in Hedehusene, you can look forward to joining our international Group Finance Transformation team – a growing unit working at the intersection of finance, operations and strategy and part of the Finance Transformation Office (FTO). For the next few years, our primary focus will be the integration of Schenker into the DSV organisation.

Support the integration of DSV x Schenker

In this senior role, you will monitor project lifecycles, including driving key discussions and providing regular status updates to stakeholders at all levels of the business. Moreover, you will work hands-on to create the materials needed, such as trackers, status reports, project plans and presentations.

Your role will involve close collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the integration life cycle to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the expected standards.

Part of your responsibility will be to enhance planning efforts and development tools, techniques, and reports to monitor the integration process. The objective is to ensure transparency across countries as they transition into DSV’s financial systems and processes, meeting overall business requirements.

Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Contributing to the development and ongoing maintenance of the Finance Transformation Integration Roadmap and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Assisting the FTO Manager in monitoring and tracking the status of Finance Transformation integration deliverables across the portfolio
  • Supporting prioritisation, risk identification and issue management in accordance with established project governance standards and controls
  • Preparing high-quality integration programme reports and presentations for the Executive Committee and other senior stakeholders as needed
  • Identifying and analysing project interdependencies within the integration programme, working to decouple them where possible and embedding them into the integration roadmap

Leverage your consultancy experience and attention to detail

“I’m looking for a person with large-scale integration experience within the Finance area who can connect key areas across multiple projects and functions. Someone who can bring a holistic view of the process and ensure transparency within the finance integration functions and areas,” explains Cornèl.

Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a university degree within Accounting or Finance combined with solid experience in a consulting or project delivery or consulting role, where you have contributed to embedding changes
  • Have proven experience with large-scale finance integration, business integration, or project/programme management within a complex, international organisation
  • Have experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and solid understanding of the ERP implementation lifecycle and key deliverables
  • May have experience working with shared service centres
  • Have some project management experience, preferably with certifications in PRINCE2® Foundation, PMP, Six Sigma and/or Lean
  • Possess excellent communication skills in English, and proficiency in Danish is a plus
