Freight Forwarder

Immingham, Mon-Friday 8.00am-4.00pm

Main Purpose of the role

DSV are seeking a Freight forwarder role within the full load dept based in Immingham , The role will have responsibility for full load import and export movements from Scandinavia. 

What will you be doing?

• Timely and effective communication with partners and internal departments via e-mail/telephone 
• Liaise with operations and overseas offices to ensure customer commitments are delivered upon 
• Support our internal stakeholders and execution of various administrative tasks which supports the handling of shipments.  
• Effective daily monitoring to ensure collections and deliveries are completed within the agreed timelines 
• Pro-active problem solving with customers and colleagues when issues arise 
• General day to day administrative duties.

About You

• Posses good communication skills 
• Exceptional organization skills and effective time management 
• Attention to detail and Inquisitive
• IT Literate in Microsoft Office 
• Problem solving
