Role: Inventory Operator
Location: Middlewich
Days/Shifts: Mon-Fri 8:30-16:30
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Operator to join our team in Middlewich. In this customer-focused role, you’ll work closely with the client’s customer  service team to ensure accurate stock management and timely order fulfilment. You’ll play a key part in maintaining inventory integrity, improving operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement across the warehouse.
What will you be doing?
•    Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory checks to maintain accuracy. 
•    Monitor locked inventory and auto-generated stock checks, resolving issues promptly. 
•    Manage replenishment processes and optimise pick-face layouts. 
•    Conduct spot checks on picking, goods-in, and empty locations. 
•    Coordinate PI counts and investigate stock discrepancies. 
•    Support QC checks, VAS tasks, and unidentified inventory investigations. 
•    Ensure stock is correctly zoned and systems are up to date. 
•    Deliver basic system training to operatives. 
•    Assist with reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. 
About You
•    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets. 
•    Clear communicator, both written and verbal. 
•    Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. 
•    Adaptable to a fast-paced environment. 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. 
•    Experience with WMS systems (CargoWrite or Red Prairie preferred). 
•    MHE experience (RT, HLOP, VNA) desirable.
