Site Manager
Middlewich
Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week

Reporting to the General Manager, the Site Manager will lead the site team to deliver exceptional service to our customers while driving operational excellence and supporting business growth. As a key member of the management team, you will champion customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and high employee engagement. We’re looking for a driven individual who is keen to progress within DSV.

What will you be doing?

•    Lead and develop the site team, ensuring high performance, compliance, and exceptional service delivery.
•    Manage customer relationships, acting as a proactive advocate to support operational and strategic goals.
•    Oversee recruitment, training, development, and all people management processes.
•    Maintain and enhance operational procedures, striving for continuous improvement in service and efficiency.
•    Drive site-wide performance through strong leadership, communication, and regular team briefings.
•    Collaborate with Business Development and Global Account Management to support growth and retention.
•    Develop and maintain business plans, KPIs, and success measures aligned with DSV’s strategic objectives.
•    Support the General Manager with site P&L and financial reporting responsibilities.

About You

•    Proven middle-management experience within a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
•    Strong understanding of warehouse operations, WMS, and facility management.
•    Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent customer relationships.
•    Skilled in people management, team motivation, and performance optimisation.
•    Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
•    Confident in IT systems, including Microsoft Office, databases, and spreadsheets.
•    Analytical, detail-focused, and able to make sound decisions.
•    Financial awareness, including budgeting and P&L understanding.
•    A CPC licence is beneficial; a full driving licence is required.
•    Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
