Treasury Specialist, Accounts Payable

DSV are recruiting for a Treasury Specialist Accounts Payable, UK and Ireland in Goole.  

• In this role, the candidate will be part of the local treasury and accounts payable team for UK and Ireland 

• The candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of purchase invoices to ensure free flow from suppliers, as well as the preparation of payments 

• The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both for contact with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders. 

• In this role, the candidate will be in direct contact with local business as well as with our Shared Service Centers  

Key Tasks  

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase invoices to ensure free flow from suppliers 

• Liaise with internal and external departments to resolve queries in a timely manner 

• Alignment with internal departments to authorize supplier invoices 

Duties / Responsibilities 

• Dealing with supplier queries 

• Driving process improvements across the purchase ledger department 

• Supporting with implementing new systems and processes 

• Managing and processing Credit Card expenses 

• Managing and processing Employee expenses 

• Entering incoming invoices and credit notes onto the purchase ledger, matching them to purchase orders and delivery notes 

• Supplier bank changes 

Skills and Competencies  

• Strong communication skills are essential 

• Computer literate with the ability to handle large amounts of data 

• A pro-active and positive attitude with good attention to detail 

• Ability to work in a team 

• Knowledge of SAP desirable
