Warehouse Supervisor

Role: Warehouse Supervisor – PM Shift
Location: Stoke on Trent
Shifts: Any 5 days out of 7, 14:00 – 22:00 (37.5 hours per week)

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the daily operations of the warehouse. You will lead and develop a team of operators, ensuring contractual KPIs are achieved, stock is managed efficiently, and customer expectations are met. What will you be doing?


•    Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely completion of tasks.
   KPI & Performance Delivery: Ensure contractual KPIs are achieved/exceeded, monitoring performance daily and addressing any shortfalls.
•    Customer Focus: Act as the first line of support for customers and DSV, handling issues proactively and ensuring on-time, in-full deliveries.
•    Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, train and develop warehouse staff; manage workloads and foster a positive, engaging  and safe working culture.
•    Health & Safety Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture; ensure compliance with H&S regulations, company policies, and best practices.
   Resource Planning: Support shift planning and allocation of resources to meet demand, including agency management where required.
•    Quality Standards: Ensure processes and outputs meet customer and DSV quality standards; investigate and resolve operational issues.
•    Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of performance, compliance, and customer reporting requirements.
•    KPI Management & Invoicing: Manage location KPIs and support the accurate completion of customer invoicing processes.
•    Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
•    Auditing & Stock Integrity: Support cycle counts, audits, and investigations to maintain stock accuracy.

About You

•    Proven experience in warehouse supervision within logistics or supply chain.
•    Strong people management and leadership skills.
•    Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
•    Organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
•    IT literate, with experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
•    Ability to work under pressure and deliver results against KPIs.
•    Knowledge of H&S, compliance, and warehouse best practices.
