This role plays a commerical and strategic driver for a specific geographic trade route, i.e Nordics countries and China, Hong Kong. He/She is dedicated to increasing market share and achieving sales and gross margin in KPIs. The role serves as a key coordination point between Sales, Procurement, and Operations, supporting route development initiatives and ensuring alignment across functions. It also contributes to market expansion efforts and assist in optimizing service offerings for designated trade lanes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support route and trade lane development initiatives between Nordics, China and HK.
- Actively generate high-profile leads, target new customers, lead the conversion of high-value business opportunities with the assigned trade lane.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analyse competitor solutions, pricing strategies and trade lane dynamics to identify untapped sectors and construct business planning.
- Responsible to steer pricing levels for local and global tenders (RFQs).
- Collaborte closely with Procurement and Products to develop innovative, tailored solutions to meet customer demands and to align with carrier conditions.
- Manage and execute assigned projects, including planning, tracking, and delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of trade lane activities.
- Monitor performance metrics (e.g., cost, service levels, volume) and support profitability tracking.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement and decision-making.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or above in project management, logistics, supply chain or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years’ solid experiences in the field with freight forwarding experience.
- Acute business development with strong negotiation skills.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Proactive and well organized with international mindset.
- Capability to build strong busienss relationship.
- Ability to define requirements, analyze facts, and determine relevant solution.
