Finance Administrator 

Location: Dublin or Shannon, Ireland (work from home for the first 6 months)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:30

Join our dynamic Finance team and play a key role in ensuring accurate financial control and reporting across our operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a global logistics organisation while working from home for your first six months.

What Will You Be Doing?

•    Process all account transactions on customer files, ensuring accurate profit and loss reporting.
•    Invoice customers in line with agreed rate cards and project IDs.
•    Monitor gross profit (GP) levels daily and report on any significant variances.
•    Work closely with the AP and Operations teams to resolve queries efficiently.
•    Maintain and update accruals accurately and on time.
•    Audit files regularly to ensure they are correctly costed and invoiced.
•    Follow up with overseas offices on any invoice discrepancies.
•    Analyse and explain GP accuracy issues, identifying opportunities for improvement.
•    Support financial reporting and month-end processes as required.

About You

•    Previous experience in an accounts administration or finance support role.
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work.
•    Confident using Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data.
•    Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently.
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•    A collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
•    (Desirable) Experience in a freight forwarding or logistics environment.
•    (Desirable) Accounting Technician qualification or part-qualified accountant.
