Role: Freight Forwarder – Airfreight
Location: East Park, Shannon
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30

We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-driven Freight Forwarder to join our Airfreight team. In this role, you will ensure full visibility and control of customer shipments, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to the smooth end-to-end execution of airfreight operations. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and customers to maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and service delivery while supporting departmental and company-wide objectives.

What will you be doing?

• Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring full visibility and proactive communication across all shipments.

• Manage airfreight orders in line with agreed service levels, KPIs, SOPs, and financial parameters.

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all administrative tasks, including file opening, invoicing, data entry, and customs brokerage coordination.

• Monitor supply chain activity, providing early warning alerts and exception management to minimise service disruptions.

• Collaborate in real time with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and 3PL partners to share information and resolve issues.

• Maintain and manage in-transit reports and system data with a high level of accuracy.

• Support commercial colleagues (Key Account Managers) by providing operational insight and high-quality service delivery.

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with airlines, agents, overseas offices, customers, and service providers.

• Ensure adherence to compliance requirements including customs, health & safety, and company procedures.

• Contribute to departmental goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

• Airfreight experience in Imports and/or Exports.
• Experience in office administration or customer service within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with a high level of customer and service orientation.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and multitasking abilities, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient IT skills, including accurate data entry and use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality.
