Join our team as a General Manager!
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee full site operations. This senior leadership role is accountable for operational performance, customer satisfaction, and commercial success across multiple sites. You will drive business growth, continuous improvement, and team development while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with all company standards.
Location: Ballycoolin, Dublin
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00 to 16:30
What Will You Be Doing?
- Oversee end-to-end operations across assigned sites, ensuring service excellence and adherence to all contractual commitments.
- Manage customer relationships and lead contract renewals, KPI delivery, and Continuous Improvement (CI) plans.
- Implement and execute business strategies and account plans to achieve retention and growth objectives.
- Lead operational and commercial initiatives, ensuring the effective use of resources to meet capacity and performance goals.
- Drive deployment of robust CI plans using company tools and best practices, supporting collaboration across multiple sites.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for each site, including property and capability development.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate, fiscal, and operational policies and procedures.
- Lead and mentor site management teams, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring strong employee engagement.
- Support talent development through graduate, apprentice, and leadership programmes.
- Provide input into financial forecasts, budgets, and ensure achievement of P&L targets.
- Support solution design and commercial input for new business opportunities and customer implementations.
- Champion health and safety standards, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace for all employees.
About You
- Proven track record in senior operational leadership within the logistics industry.
- Experience managing large-scale operations with multiple customers and commercial models.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in customer retention, contract management, and financial performance.
- Skilled in strategic planning, solution implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Experienced in leading diverse teams, developing talent, and driving engagement.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ideally experienced in Contract Logistics Sales, Solutions, or Implementations.
- Passionate, motivated, and results-oriented, with a focus on delivering long-term value for both customers and the business.
