General Manager 
Dublin - Ballycoollin 
Mon- Fri 37.5 hours per week

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager to lead our Contract Logistics sites in Ballycoolin. The successful candidate will be responsible for  driving high-quality service delivery and performance against customer agreements. This role delivers site strategy, operational excellence, and customer-focused solutions alongside driving efficiency, enhancing value-added services, and delivering sustainable profitability.
 
What will you be doing?

•    Ensure effective management of site operations, systems, and procedures in line with company standards, 
•    Ongoing performance monitoring and corrective action where required. 
•    Maintain all facilities and equipment to legal and safety standards.
•    Lead customer relationships (operational and financial), drive continuous improvement, collaborate with Business Development to grow new and existing business.
•    Own site financial performance, including budgets, cost control, and alignment with Finance to maximise profitability.
•    Build and develop high-performing teams through effective talent planning, performance management, and employee engagement.
•    Promote clear communication, strong leadership, and proactive risk management across all site operations.
•    Ensure full adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental standards, including ISO requirements, and maintain high housekeeping and site security standards.

About You

•    Proven experience in a senior warehouse/logistics role (Assistant GM or similar), ideally within a large 3PL, multi-user environment
•    Strong financial and commercial acumen, including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and contract/rate management
•    Solid understanding of warehouse operations, WMS, and inventory management
•    Strong leadership skills with a track record of building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams
•    Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
•    Analytical mindset with strong decision-making and attention to detail
•    Highly customer-focused with a passion for service excellence
•    Proficient in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•    Experience driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency (Lean/Six Sigma desirable)
•    Ability to support business growth and work cross-functionally, including with suppliers and commercial teams

Additional:

•    Full driving licence
•    Degree in business or similar (desirable)
•    IOSH / NEBOSH (desirable)
