Role: Logistics IT Manager
Location: Dublin
Hours: 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday

We are seeking a Logistics IT Manager to support our Contract Logistics IT platforms across Ireland. This role forms a key part of the IT support team for CL operations, providing first‑line system, hardware, and application support while ensuring that warehouse and logistics teams can operate efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with local operations, Ireland/UK IT teams, and external system suppliers to deliver a reliable, secure, and resilient IT environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide first‑line support for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and customer‑specific system requirements.
  • Ensure systems are used according to best practice and complete configuration or maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Develop user documentation and training materials; deliver user training.
  • Test new features, system releases, and updates.
  • Participate in application development and requirements mapping.
  • Act as the link between Logistics, IE IT, and application suppliers.
  • Liaise with the IT Service Desk and provide on‑site support for issues not resolved remotely.
  • Provide hardware and software support to end users, including laptops, mobile devices, handheld scanners, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across a wide range of devices.
  • Prepare new hardware, manage asset documentation, and ensure all equipment is tracked in the IT asset register.
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve software and hardware issues.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports to support operations and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support functional specification requests, business development initiatives, and IT implementation/continuous improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Follow Health & Safety requirements, reporting hazards as necessary.
  • Carry out additional tasks as required by the Manager.

About You

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Experience within the logistics industry.
  • Knowledge of IT solutions for Contract Logistics.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical, organisational, and time‑management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with printer and handheld scanner setup.
  • Understanding of EDI processes.

  • Flexible and proactive approach.
  • Strong “can‑do” attitude.
  • Able to work independently and build relationships remotely.
  • Clear, concise communicator with strong verbal and written skills.

Qualifications:

  • Third‑level IT qualification.

Specialised Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and interest in IT platforms and solutions.
