Role: Key Account Operations Team Leader
Location: East Park, Shannon
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to act as the Operations Lead for a growing Key Account within our Control Tower (CT) operation. Reporting to the Control Tower Manager, this role is critical in ensuring excellent customer service, end-to-end supply chain visibility, and proactive exception management across Air, Ocean, and Land transport. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to exceed customer expectations while maintaining strong operational and financial control.
What will you be doing?
Act as Operations Lead for a key strategic customer within the Control Tower environment.
Support the Control Tower Manager in delivering operational excellence and service continuity.
Ensure all activities are managed in line with agreed service levels, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and revenue and cost parameters.
Provide full end-to-end supply chain visibility across suppliers, carriers, overseas offices, and vendors.
Manage early warning alerts and exception handling to resolve issues before they impact the customer.
Collaborate in real time with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information sharing.
Maintain high standards of administrative accuracy across bookings, tracking, reporting, and billing.
Support GP (Gross Profit) management and contribute to departmental, branch, and company objectives.
Develop, manage, and refine KPIs aligned to customer and operational requirements.
Deliver key projects on time and in line with agreed objectives.
About You
Strong understanding of Air, Ocean, and Land transport networks and equipment capabilities.
Solid knowledge of freight rates, peak operational periods, and capacity constraints.
Experience working with logistics data management systems, booking platforms, and track & trace tools.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong attention to detail with a curiosity to identify and implement best practices.
Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
Customer-focused with a strong commitment to service quality and continuous improvement.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multifunctional teams.
