Role: Warehouse Team Lead 
Location: Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 
Hours: 14:30 – 2300 

We are seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to support the operation of a key warehouse function. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring efficient daily operations, accurate inventory management, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to achieve business targets and deliver outstanding customer service. 
 

What will you be doing? 

  • Support the management team with day‑to‑day warehouse operations, ensuring business targets are achieved.  

  • Coordinate team workloads, monitor performance, and ensure KPIs and quality standards are met.  

  • Train new warehouse operatives within your area of responsibility.  

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure stock movements are correctly recorded.  

  • Participate in and support regular stock takes; ensure warehouse systems remain accurate and up to date.  

  • Produce regular operational reports and statistics as required 

  • Assist in planning capacity requirements for the warehouse.  

  • Maintain appropriate Health & Safety and manual‑handling standards.  

  • Ensure warehouse equipment, vehicles, and machinery are maintained and fit for purpose.  

  • Support the upkeep of a secure, clean, and efficient working environment.  

  • Act up for Warehouse Management during leave and absences.  

People Management duties: 

  • Manage time, attendance, and people‑related issues for operatives.  

  • Communicate targets, priorities, and operational requirements to staff.  

  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies as required 

  • Support grievance and disciplinary processes, conduct return‑to‑work and welfare meetings.  

About You 

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Team Leader with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.  

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  

  • Good IT skills, especially spreadsheets, databases, and warehouse systems.  

  • Analytical, numerate, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.  

  • Strong understanding of customer deliverables and the operational impact of non‑performance.  

  • Excellent attention to detail.  

Desirable skills & qualifications: 

  • Experience working in Warehouse in a team lead or supervisory capacity.  

  • Dangerous Goods Handling certification.  

  • Knowledge of lean techniques and/or FLT licence
