This position is located in Macao, responsible for all general matters involving the business unit, inclusive ops, sales, performance, products etc. and overall Sea freight management in Hong Kong / South China.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be an active part of the senior management of the company in Hong Kong / South China.
• Overall responsible for the P/L for the Import / Export Sea freight products.
• Take part in the budget planning for Sea freight products.
• Active in the global buying patterns based on the large volume contribution from the area.
• Actively work to increase the market share for the core carriers, which DSV have in the core carrier program.
• In cooperation with MD / GM Commercial establish business strategy to achieve short- / long-term targets to increase profitability, product scope & service quality.
• Ensure that strategy is rolled out in the department / branches.
• Vendors Management – buying cost improvement from new / existing vendors.
• Active role in large account development for Sea freight Customers.
• Collect / report market information.
• Monitor market trends & competitor activity being part of identifying new areas of opportunity.
• Ensure all activities complying with relevant legal demands and ethical standards as per company and government regulations.
• Together with GM Commercial ensure right products are in place.
• Active in rolling out efficiency program from the Q&P team.
• Evaluate/optimize processes & procedures involving Sea freight products.
• Analyze/streamline work procedures to ensure highest level of efficiency & quality.
• Uniform work procedures (SOP).

Job Requirements:

• Degree or above in logistics/business or related disciplines.
• Minimum 15 years’ work experiences in the industry, including at least 3 years in a management role.
• Prior background for global forwarder will be preferred.
• Good industry knowledge in handling procedures of Sea freight.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with international mindset.
• Independent, accountable and responsible with high team spirits and abilities to continuously coach subordinate.
• Customer oriented and result driven.
• Ability to define requirements, analyze facts and determine relevant solutions/actions to be taken.
