Business Analyst (API)

 

 

A Business Analyst in API Department will be responsible for supporting customers in API onboarding, participating in the implementation projects (internal and external), and maintaining high quality of the current Public API interfaces used for customers’ integrations.

You will also be involved in designing new APIs based on the stakeholder’s requirements, translating them into technical solutions and making sure to document the processes.

Provide - or contributes actively - to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Provide functional expertise to teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follows conventions and departmental standard guidelines and practises.
  • Carry out tests (including creating testing files and scenarios) to make sure APIs work as designed, and to troubleshoot any performance issues.
  • Cooperate with developers and different technical oriented teams to maintain the highest quality of API products.
  • Assists customers in DSV API Implementation and collaborates with Business Implementation Managers/Sales to manage client relationships.
  • Document the work done according to the agreed format/way.
  • Plans and meets the deadlines in projects within agreed estimated hours.
  • Follow the priority set by Team Lead/Manager.
  • Escalates priority conflicts to Team Lead/Manager.
  • Behaviours and attitudes consistent with the values.
  • Professional skills development by participation in training and constant self-education.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic programming/software development experience
  • Knowledge of web services, REST API
  • Knowledge of XML, json, HTML formats
  • Experience in development testing
  • Experience in customer facing communication
  • Experience with business process modeling
  • Ability to share knowledge and co-work in development projects
