Operational Finance Assistant, Cash Management

The Operational Finance Assistant (Cash Management) supports daily cash operations, including payment processing, bank reconciliations, and transaction monitoring, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to develop their knowledge in finance operations, treasury, and cash management within a global environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support the processing of incoming and outgoing payments (manual and automatic).
• Assist in daily cash management and cash flow monitoring activities.
• Perform basic bank reconciliations on a daily and monthly basis.
• Verify and post bank transactions in SAP under supervision.
• Support petty cash postings and documentation.
• Assist in handling communication and correspondence with banks.
• Ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time.
• Support in identifying discrepancies and escalating issues when needed.
• Assist in basic quality checks of financial transactions.
• Maintain and update process documentation.
• Support onboarding and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and team projects.

Education and Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree (or currently studying last semesters) in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Skills:

• English level B1–B2.
• Basic knowledge of Excel (formulas, data handling).
• Interest in finance, treasury, or cash management processes.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• SAP knowledge is a plus (not mandatory).

Minimum Work Experience

• Up to 6 months of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related areas (internships or trainee roles count).
