At DSV, we are proud of our specialized High Value Cargo service. With our own European network, advanced tracking and security systems, and a 24/7 alarm monitoring centre, we provide maximum protection for valuable goods. You are an indispensable part of this operation. You’re on it.

How do you do this? As a Freight Forwarder High Value Cargo, you are continuously monitoring, coordinating and securing transports within a complex European logistics environment. You always maintain oversight, respond quickly to deviations and make well-considered decisions when safety and continuity are under pressure. You achieve this by:

• coordinating and planning High Value Cargo transports across a complex European network;
• monitoring shipments in real time and proactively identifying risks, deviations and security incidents;
• maintaining direct contact with customers, drivers, security specialists and international colleagues;
• coordinating additional security measures, including security vans and escort services whenever required by the customer's risk profile;
• arranging secure parking locations, coordinating with the alarm monitoring centre and acting as the first point of contact during operational escalations.

Your team stands out within DSV because of its strong mix of experienced and junior planners. Supporting one another and growing the product together are key priorities. Naturally, a thorough onboarding programme is part of the package.

You bring

• experience as a freight forwarder, transport planner, expediter or in a similar logistics role;
• a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure;
• excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset;
• affinity with secure transportation, security processes or TAPA standards is considered an advantage;
• a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
