KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:-

• Preparing and Lodgment of Customs & NAQIA entries for Papua New Guinea ports of entry.
• Liaising with customers regarding Customs & NAQIA clearance of their shipments
• Liaising with NAQIA for FCL/LCL shipments
• To provide tariff and shipping advice in a prompt manner
• Provide up to date advice to clients on information affecting their business in terms of PNG regulations
• Assist in quality matters and continuous improvement
• Classification of imported goods to Papua New Guinea Customs
• Liaise with and obtain necessary clearances from government agencies.
• Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with customers
• Ensuring that goods are pre cleared prior to arrival when able – pending pre alert documentation etc
• Managing Compilers and associated team members to ensure compliance with DSV policy & procedures inline with PNG Customs Act.
• Assist Customs Compliers as required, engage & manage processes, data bases and DSV associated system requirements.

• Advising customers, external and internal, on importation clearance regulations
