Responsibilities:
- Monitor and oversee daily import and export airfreight shipments.
- Arrange bookings with carriers, DSV origin/destination offices, and external agents.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, transport teams, and vendors as required.
- Ensure timely dispatch of documents, pre-alerts, and shipment updates.
- Open, manage, and close job files from start to completion.
- Prepare and provide complete sets of documents required by customers, origin offices, or authorities.
- Execute AWBs (export) and generate Notice of Arrival (import).
- Create and send e-manifests and corresponding status updates to customers.
- Perform proper file archiving and maintain document integrity.
- Ensure all mandatory data fields and shipment milestones are accurately updated in CW1.
- Monitor inbound consolidations and ensure correct system status at all times.
- Maintain high data quality and ensure compliance with system requirements.
- Secure cost acceptance from overseas agents/vendors.
- Estimate Gross Profit using Job Costing and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and dispatch billing invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Address and support resolution of billing disputes or customer concerns.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emails and queries from DSV offices, customers, and partners.
- Attend to customer complaints, claim notifications, and service concerns with urgency and accuracy.
- Provide internal and external reports as required.
- Perform weekly file checks to ensure compliance and operational completeness.
- Execute additional administrative or operational tasks as required by management.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of at least a 4‑year bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant operational experience in airfreight import/export.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge or experience using CargoWise (CW1) is an advantage.
- Preferably with work experience in a multinational freight forwarding company.
- Strong command of English (written and spoken).
- High attention to detail, strong organization skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Customer-focused with strong coordination and communication abilities.
