Specialist, LEAN, QMS - Continuous Improvement & QMS

 

The role of Continuous Improvement & QMS Specialist is to act as a business partner who works closely with middle management and the teams, understand business priorities, proposes and implements improvement projects/initiatives which support successful achievement of DSV GBS strategic goals and objectives.

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Support to build and strengthen continuous improvement culture within GBS
  • Work with operations teams and drive process improvements that quantitatively and qualitatively improve costs, quality and service,
  • Cooperation with GBS units and teams and other process stakeholders, e.g. Global Process Owner, Business Change Managers, RPA, PA, BPD in the scope of improvement activities,
  • Track and report continuous improvement project and initiatives
  • Assist process transition to operations and participate in SLA review,
  • Support the establishment and delivery of an operational excellence/ standard work program for GBS
  • Designing, preparing and conducting continuous improvement methodologies training sessions including, but not limited to Six Sigma, 5S, Lean Principles and others,
  • Support in defining new KPIs for services provided by GBS and support in their implementation,
  • Develop, implement and maintain reporting framework for business KPI metrics,
  • Implementation and maintenance of the process maturity model of the organization (Maturity Matrix Model),Ad Hoc reporting requirements, Support employees in the development of knowledge and skills in the field of continuous improvement, Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company, including company’s intellectual property protection, Behaviors and attitudes consistent with the values.
  • Support Operations in the creation, development/update of process documentations outside of process migration scope, and conduct documentation audits based on GBS standards
  • Constant skills development by participating in training and self-development
  • Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company, including company’s intellectual property protection.
  • Behaviors and attitudes consistent with the values of DSV.
  • Professional skills development by participation in training and constant self-education.

Education and skills:

Minimal requirements

  • Higher education: Finance / Economics / Industrial Engineering
  • Completed training: Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Knowledge of English at C1 level.
  • Knowledge of the Ms Office package that enables effective and correct: sorting and filtering data, conditional cell formatting, "freezing" rows, columns, securing form/ cells, cell formatting, creating pivot tables/ graphs, vertical searching for data, validating/ consolidating and grouping data and support for simple macros.
  • Highly developed skills of cooperation with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work under time pressure.
  • Good organization skills of own and others work.
  • Critical and objective observation of the process and implementation of new solutions enabling efficient and effective solving of any problems in the managed process.
  • Analytical skills.

Minimal work experience:

Minimal requirements

  • Experience in working in an international corporation environment supported by a minimum of 4 years of professional practice.
  • Experience in describing business processes in logistics/ freight forwarding
  • Experience or participation in the implementation of projects/ savings programs in the organization.
