Resposibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Global Tender Management process
- Lead global tenders as a bid manager; after analysis and distribution of tasks to internal stakeholders, review/validate information received from the internal stakeholders
- Develop competitive proposals for DSV recommending customer centric business solutions and reviewing pricing with bid owners and product managers
- Respond and assist on RFI / RFQ requests ensuring timely, accurate and quality responses are delivered to the requesting parties
- Support to maintain a pricing database under guidance of manager and product/s
- Maintain monthly tender data records and follow up on progress of submitted tenders
- Interface with other functional groups such as IT, Legal, Security, Product, Key Account Management, Industry Verticals, as well as with customers in creating/delivering customer driven services and solutions
- Ensure post bid analysis is performed by bid owners for all bids, both successful and unsuccessful; ensure received tender feedback is shared with relevant functions in the organization
Qualifications:
- Higher educational level (degree business administration, economics, logistics)
- Relevant working experience (minimum 4 years) and industry experience (minimum 4 years)
- Functional & operational know-how on global forwarding and deep market knowledge (customers, air & sea freight rates/services)
- Basic knowledge in finance & good business practice, Supply Chain & Logistics knowledge would be seen as an asset
- Organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign, and control), strong passion for accuracy, result oriented, team-driven and customer-focused
- Proactive self-starter, excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
- Fluent in English, additional European languages are a plus
- Flexible to work under EU time zone and on weekends (when needed)
