Anchored in Global IT, Enterprise Business Development drives some of the most transformative digital initiatives in DSV—connecting data, intelligence, and workflows across divisions, systems, and geographies. In this role, you will work closely with Domain Squad Leads, architects, and Chapter Leads to translate needs into aligned, cross-domain solutions. You ensure capabilities are scalable, interoperable, and built for the long term—while delivering tangible value in every sprint.

 

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify and document business needs through interviews, workshops, surveys, and research as well as ensure we maintain the vision and strategy of the domain, the data mesh and DSV
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders (business users, management, and technical teams) to ensure alignment.
  • Ensure traceability from business needs to delivered solutions. Contribute hands-on when required to unblock teams and move delivery forward
  • Audit of the how the platforms’ defined capabilities are aligned within and across the various platforms, ensuring that we reduce duplication of capability implementation in multiple products/platforms
  • Analyze current business processes and identifying areas for improvement or automation
  • Create clear and detailed documentation such as business requirement documentation, functional specifications, use cases, mapping specifications and user stories
  • Cross-platform collaboration with architects, developers, testers and SMEs to ensure the designed solution delivers the expected value and lives up to the business needs
  • Ability to get the information from consumers and producers on data formats, triggering mechanisms, data domain coverage, timing/consistency SLAs etc
  • Understand and analyze different data structures, usage and flows and document in agreed format

 

 

Our requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience as Business Analyst, Lead Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar senior role
  • Strong experience working in agile delivery environments (Scrum, Kanban, or Spotify model)
  • Proven ability to engage business stakeholders, capture requirements, and translate them into actionable specifications
  • Solid understanding of business processes and how they translate into technical solutions
  • Experience working closely with development teams, architects, and product owners
  • Strong documentation and communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex, fast-moving environment
  • Experience working in large, global, and matrix organisations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technical communities
  • Familiarity with business intelligence, data analytics, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Exposure to the logistics industry is beneficial
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Databricks, etc.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, APIs, and basic programming languages is a plus
  • Familiarity with different data formats (XML, JSON etc.)
  • Knowledge of TMS systems and data attribute analysis and mapping is an advantage
