The BRM team bridges IT and Business Group functions by proactively advising, inspiring, and guiding how IT can drive business
development in the future. The goal is for IT to stay relevant and continue to act as the preferred and trusted business partner.
The BRM works closely with the Senior BRM, handles the day-to-day relationship with business stakeholders from selected Group functions, translates strategic business needs and concerns to Global IT, maintains multi-year roadmaps, facilitates selection and onboarding of new applications, and holds an overall portfolio overview at project level
Your responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day relationships with business stakeholders, act as IT liaison by addressing business issues/concerns in accurate and timely manner
- Work with business areas and IT to develop and maintain multi-year business capability roadmaps that translate strategic needs and ensure a common understanding of priorities and dependencies
- Be exposed to various areas within our projects and application portfolios. This includes ensuring portfolios are designed according to strategic guidelines and policies and support the application consolidation strategy
- Manage the demand for new products and services, support business with communicating needs, project requirements and objectives to IT, support mobilization of new initiatives, review project briefs/PIDs/business cases
- Facilitate the application selection management – including applications onboarding, SLA negotiation, and application decommissioning
- During M&A projects, support IT and Business with application consolidation, migrations, integrations, synergies etc.
- Engage with project and program leads to ensure alignment on investment portfolio and roadmap, budget, IT resources, etc.
- Support the budget process for the project and application portfolios, and periodically report on spend vs budget. Engage in proactive dialog with Group Accounting around costs for initiatives and applications periodically report on project delivery/cost to senior management, proactively discuss deviations and propose mitigating actions
- Join a community of other Business Relationship Managers responsible for other key areas as a source of inspiration and help
Our requirements:
- Master’s degree in e.g. Business Administration, IT Management or similar
- Background as IT Business Partner, Project Manager, Consultant or similar where you supported business processes, applications or were a part of M&A from an international company
- Experience with analysing and documenting problems and challenges (eg through situation-complication-resolution)
- Experience with facilitating and documenting workshops
- Experience with creating professional management presentations
- Commercial awareness and understanding of business environments
- Strong written and oral communication
- Assertiveness and diplomacy, negotiating and problem-solving skills
- Great collaboration skills, encouraging collaboration
- Ability to focus on business value results instead of solutions
- Ability to establish trusted relationships with stakeholders on all organisational levels
- You enjoy diversity and are empathic as well as analytical Structured, strategic, and energetic mindset
- Passion for creating results
- Speak and write English effortlessly, and Danish is an advantage but not a requirement
