We are looking for a Group Process Owner (GPO), MDM Governance, who will define and steer governance for key MDM processes and the related tools and services. In this role, you will shape standards, ensure strong process ownership, and drive consistency across the organization. Responsibilities within the governance landscape are divided among MDM GPOs depending on expertise, departmental priorities, and business needs. You will also support other MDM sub‑departments as agreed with upper management, contributing to a cohesive and effective master data organization.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Lead change management strategy and execution for MDM initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment of people, processes, and technology during transformation.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end MDM change process in line with governance standards.
  • Conduct impact assessments, risk analysis, and post‑implementation validation.
  • Maintain communication plans, change logs, and stakeholder documentation.
  • Engage key stakeholders and ensure clear, business‑friendly communication around MDM changes.
  • Create and deliver training to support adoption of new MDM processes and promote data governance awareness.
  • Prepare reports and maintain clear process documentation in line with MDM standards.
  • Monitor data quality, resolve root causes, and drive ongoing process improvements.
  • Collaborate with business, IT, GBS, and other teams while supporting audits, projects, and ad‑hoc tasks.
  • Manage MDM roadmap, intakes and budget - including prioritization with various involved stakeholders including senior management.
  • Drive delivery of assigned projects from initiation to closure.
  • Manage all tasks / work packages in the project to ensure they’re completed without any delays and within budget.
  • Support and manage project team members depending on the project.
  • Manage lessons learnt and implement best practices.
  • Assess current department potential / opportunities to identify gaps to achieve ambitions / long term goals.
  • Support with managing MDM capacity including annual budgets.
  • Implement project management best practices within the team.
  • Responsible for developing and executing communication and change management strategies while engaging key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Manages project and departmental risks by planning, monitoring, and implementing mitigation actions.
  • Ensures accurate KPI control and professional reporting, as well as high‑quality preparation of process and project progress documentation.
  • Creates and maintains governance standards, processes, and documentation, while identifying and mitigating risks related to relevant processes.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have experience with Address Data, Business Partner Data, Locations & Properties Data, Reference Data, Controlling Data and various other data management processes
  • Must have experience with process management - mapping, descriptions, improving processes utilizing various methodologies
  • Must have change management or project management experience e.g. planning, prioritization, risk / issue / stakeholder management. Experience with global rollouts, consultancy background is preferred. ADKAR experience is a plus.
  • Nice to have experience with MDG & ERP
  • Basic knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma for continuous improvement
  • Basic knowledge of how to plan, prioritize, manage risks / issues 
  • Experience working abroad and within corporate environment
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Fluent English
