Your responsibilities:
- Become part of The Centre of Insights and Analytics (CIA) team that is working with all DSV business divisions as well as Group Functions to simplify information gathering and turning data into insight
- Create visually powerful dashboards in Microsoft Power BI that turn data into information
- Champion user experience best practices for business stakeholders
- Be a business partner for both business divisions/Group Functions as well as IT departments, acting as an interface to bring business intelligence to the next level
- Support BI management in the implementation of the Global BI Roadmap
- Design, develop, document and maintain business intelligence solutions
- Support the advanced analytics team in creating advanced analytics solutions
- Work in projects together with the business partners internally
- Act as knowledge hub for Microsoft Power BI to empower business partners
Our requirements:
- University degree in IT, business studies or any related studies
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar position (Business Intelligence)
- Proven expert knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (focus on Microsoft Power BI)
- Ability to visualize information in a value adding way
- Experience with complex DAX functions and Power Query
- Deep knowledge of BI processes and good practices characteristic for a large corporation
- Practical SQL scripting knowledge (ideally SQL Server with optimization knowledge)
- Azure Data Stack knowledge (Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2), with special focus on Databricks
- Knowledge of advanced analytics / data science methodologies and tools (R, python, Pytorch)
- Knowledge of data modelling concepts
- Basic knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse
- Basic knowledge of financial data structures
- Fluent English both spoken and written
