We are looking for a Project Manager in the P&O Area that will provide high quality services and manage projects for the DSV organisation, supporting business and group functions in executing global strategies. In DSV Group Project Management Office (PMO), you will be a part of a group of 160+ highly professional colleagues. You will be responsible for leading complex projects, which are directly linked to DSVs strategy. You will be working closely with the PMO management, Cluster leads as well as senior stakeholders in DSV, spanning functional areas such as Business Divisions, Group P&O, Compliance, IT, and other Group functions.
Your responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: assume a leading role in the initiation, planning, and execution of complex and high-impact projects. Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Senior-Level Stakeholder Management: engage with senior stakeholders, including board members, executives, and external partners. Negotiate with key stakeholders to secure project resources and ensure stakeholder buy-in and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the project and subsequent task alignment of project members. Including potential country implementations across all project stages starting from business case initiation to hypercare.
- Risk and Escalation Management: identify and analyse potential risks at the organizational level and devise strategic plans to mitigate them. Take a proactive approach in resolving high-level escalations and complex issues, ensuring minimal impact on project continuity and success.
- Reporting and Communication: Use reporting mechanisms to provide comprehensive updates to top management and the board. Develop and maintain a communication strategy that ensures transparency and regular updates on project status, risks, and achievements.
- Resource Management: oversee resource allocation across projects, optimizing the use of personnel, budgets, and tools.
- You will potentially handle task and time management of external partners, service providers and consultants.
Our requirements:
- Comprehensive understanding of Project Management models i.e. PRINCE2 and/or agile frameworks.
- 5+ years of continuous project management experience with large corporate projects – preferably from a global PMO and MNCs.
- Experience with projects in the Human Resources area (Payroll and EC Integrations, Workforce Management, Learning Modules, Reporting Solutions etc) will be an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree (as a minimum) or higher in a relevant field.
- Excellent written and verbal corporate English language skills (Oral Danish is an advantage).
- Strong inter-personnel and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- You can stand your ground when others challenge you.
- You know how to navigate at both management and at team level.
- Used to and comfortable working in an international and high-performance setting.
- Comfortable leading people in workshop settings, both facilitating, leading and driving outcomes.
