To support the organization to drive and improve QHSE Management system within Singapore and Malaysia and act as the first point of contact for the Countries in the Area of Responsibility (AR) on all QHSE topics, assist in subcontractor management for Singapore.
KEY TASK
QHSE Management
- Ensure the QHSE Management System within all applicable countries in the area of responsibility (AR) is implemented and compliant;
- Support and drive the achievement and performance of the QHSE Objectives & Targets are being met within the AR;
- Ensure regular QHSE performance updates are presented in Country Management meetings within the AR, when required;
- Ensure the adherence to the global corrective and preventive action standards as well as being actively involved in the root cause analysis and agreement of corrective and preventive actions for severe and reoccurring incidents, audit findings, KPI deviations etc.;
- Support countries in the AR during external audits against ISO 9001;
- Support the implementation of the global incident handling standards within the AR;
- Perform tasks as QHSE responsible in CAPA process;
- Coordinate country QHSE certifications and act as the prime contact within the Country for external certification bodies;
- Support Products in regards to continuous improvement initiatives
- Organize and execute QHSE training and make training material available
- Drive BCP walkthroughs in the AR
- Ensure, unless local legal or similar requirements dictate, global standards are either implemented or challenged for improvement;
- Support the implementation of the key quality industry certifications (e.g. SQAS);
- Support on tenders and customer audits in regards to quality requirements in the AR;
- Perform internal QHSE audits and QHSE subcontractor audits according to the Company’s audit plan
- Participate in external QHSE or related audits according to the Company’s audit plan.
- Ensure all risks & opportunities are identified within the quality function;
- Meet at regular intervals with Quality Managers of key customers to exchange information relating to quality management systems and to share ideas and knowledge;
Subcontractor Management
- Maintain and manage the subcontractor portfolio across different products in Singapore which includes outsourced vendor services for trucking, transportation and other cargo handling & value-added activities.
- Assist in procurement, setup and maintenance of subcontractor data pool, contractual term negotiations and filing as per Corporate Audit requirement.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- NEBOSH/Equivalent Qualified
- Qualified Internal & Lead Auditor
- Experience of working in an International Work Environment
- Good subcontractor management know-how and experience.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Others), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
- At least 6 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Educational qualifications can be compensated by working experience.
