About the Position:
Leading the special product “VADs/White Glove” for DSV Road in APAC including owning the operational responsibility and setup of related capabilities
Achieving volume targets set, agreed service level / KPIs with our customers. On-time turnaround and presentation of corrective action plans.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Define the SOP for white glove services in APAC
- Train and audit country teams for SOP compliance and safety aspects
- Be entry window, subject matter expert and key spokesperson for White Glove product in APAC
- Continuously expand our service scope, white glove volumes and related profitability in APAC
- Face regional customer contacts for escalations and strategic discussions
- Drive safety improvements with HSSE and country teams
- Setup control tower tasks for white glove related matters as needed
- Implement new white glove customers/business as/when applicable
- Support in solution and pricing requests/queries (where applicable) to ensure timely response to customer and increase customer satisfaction
The candidate is expected to satisfy the following criteria: -
- Distinctive experience in logistics and domestic transportation operations knowledge
- Proven track record in server rack transportation and data center logistics
- Distinctive experience in regional operations management and customer operations
- Hands-on mindset and comfortable with an agile and fast-paced work environment
- Distinctive assertiveness, critical decision-making and analytical skills
- Customer-oriented and able to promote high performance culture
- Distinctive intercultural competencies
- Acts and presents easily at executive level
- Excellent people management and communication skills
Specific experience in the following areas:
- Preferably >10 years experiences in the logistics industry or in an operations or customer service environment
- Knowledge and understanding of white glove / sensitive good transport operations
- The position requires some travel, internationally, and the associated inter-cultural competence & global thinking, and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of global integrated logistics requirements and solutions
- Language skills – fluency in English (written and spoken), Chinese speaking is an advantage
