Senior Insurance Specialist, Insurance & Claims, Turkey

Job Description

•           The role involves managing insurance sales, coordinating DSV TR Claims processes, handling insurance policies, and collaborating with finance, accounting, and legal teams.

•           Perform insurance sales and manage in-house processes, ensuring internal and external coordination.

•           Managing communication with broker firms and partners on insurance-related matters.

•           Track damages and logistics data, ensuring customer-focused objectives.

•           Approve insurance payments and follow up with the Accounting Department.

•           Handle disputes with insurance companies and experts, and coordinate domestic damage resolution.

•           Rewiew and controlling insurance clauses of legal agreements.

•           Support billing processes and transfer damage reports to relevant departments (law/accounting).

•           Communicate with Headquarter office to apply manuals in Turkey and coordinate fronting procedures for Global policies.

•           Maintain communication with Turkish insurance companies and broker firms, and collaborate with Finance to enter policies into the system.

•           Share monthly and quarterly insurance sales reports with HQ Team, Finance, and HR.

•           Renew and improve group health, personal accident, and fleet insurance policies.

•           Provide technical support for transport policies, including quotations and approval coordination (CIRA).

•           Manage liability and travel health policies, assess contract insurance clauses, and include new addresses in global policies.

•           Attend conferences organized by HQ Office.

•           Managing claims handling structure in accordance with Corporate Claims Handling Process for sea, air, road freight claims

•           Managing all local claim process, including Health, Automotive, Travel etc..

•           Managing recourse process with related legal firms, insurance companies.

•           Managing claims handling process with related insurance firms, loss adjusters, brokers, Operation teams, surveyor and etc..

•           Share monthly claims reports with Global Claims and TR Controlling team.

•           Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Banking and Insurance or Statistics,

•           Minimum 5 years of experience in Insurance / Reinsurance and/or Insurance Brokerage,

•           Ability to communicate with global teams

•           Good communication skills

•           Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

•           Proficiency in global insurance platforms such as CIRA

•           Good knowledge of English (speaking and writing).
