Solution Design Manager

Main responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements and bid strategies into actionable project plans
• Plan and optimize resource allocation across multiple high-priority projects
• Develop and implement solution design strategies to meet market and client demands
• Identify the requirements and support team development through training and mentoring
• Collaborate with operation and business development teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Leverage advantage tools and cost models to ensure high-quality, cost efficient solutions
• Provide technical guidance on complex or high-risk projects and vendor engagement.
• Lead continuous improvement of design processes and promote best practices
• Foster strong cross-functional partnerships and maintain key stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree required, Industrial Engineering background is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in a commercial, customer-centric, or solutions focused organization

Key Skills & Expertise:

• Leading the solution designs & implementation warehousing & transport solutions
• Strong knowledge of warehousing operations & warehouse management systems.
• Skillful experience on CAD drawing for layout design, cost modelling & pricing for warehouse solutions
• Sector knowledge in the semiconductor, tech industries & retail market is a strong advantage
• Proven ability to translate customer requirements into value-driven solutions
• Experience with product development, operational costing, and cost modeling
• Knowledge of automation/mechanization design and statistical modeling
• Skilled in pricing strategy, resource allocation, and solution selling
• Experience with product development, operational costing, and cost modeling
• Strong competencies in project & stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation
• Effective in facilitating cross-functional collaboration and people development
• Familiarity with technical business discussion and supply chain strategy is a plus
